“Radical Redemption” in the Court Room

A unique, authentic story:

At a recent sentence hearing in Lake County, IL, an inmate stood in front of the judge, holding a copy of Manny Mill’s book “Radical Redemption.”

In a deliberate yet respectful tone, he said, “Your Honor, I have been reading this book by Mr. Manny Mill, ‘Radical Redemption’, and I have come to realize that I need to be sorry for what I have done, and get my life turned around based on the Biblical ideas this book talks about.”  The judge took the book, looked at the cover briefly and handed it back to the man waiting to hear what his sentence would be. The judge thought for a few moments and said, “I need some more time to think about what you have said today. I want to delay pronouncing your sentence until later.”

Still waiting for judges decision-but he remains one of the strongest Christians on the pod!
